NZN team expands with new recruits

New joiners Evie Farnham and Alice Flint, pictured here at a planning offsite at the Royal Society for the Arts, will considerably strengthen the microbiology expertise within the NZN laboratory team.

Alice studied at Cambridge and Royal Holloway before postdoc projects at Queen’s and Warwick. She is a keen cyclist and has even caused CEO Justin to dust down his bike. Evie arrives straight from her PhD at York and in addition to her core studies, she is a self-taught coder.

Gary Devine, CSO, said: ‘We are delighted to welcome two high-calibre scientists with first-class records in academia, to apply their skills and experience to solving one of the world’s biggest, but relatively unreported, climate challenges. Evie and Alice considerably strengthen our microbiology expertise, which is a critical capability for a science-led business in this domain.’
